New Mexico's own high-flying strip-teaser!September Smith is a Burlesque Circus performer based in Santa Fe, NM who has been performing nationally since 2003 from NYC to San Francisco in fine theatres as well as sordid bars. She has performed her Aerial Burlesque (Lyra, Trapeze & Duo Trapeze), as well as Partner Acrobatics with the likes of Wise Fool Circus, The National Tour of the Sex Worker’s Art Show, at Viva Las Vegas in Nevada & Madame Maraschino’s House of Burlesque in San Francisco to name a few. September spent the better part of 2 years training at the New England Center for Circus Arts in Vermont-whoa snow! And offers both aerial burlesque acts and ground burlesque acts. She is just as passionate about the beautiful as she is about the absurd.Recent performances include the Southwest Burlesque Showcase, The Weekly Alibi's Steampunk Show, and the Colorado Burlesque Festival.September is also the founder & curator of the wildly popular Femme-O-Lition Derby, an annual show in Albuquerque & Santa Fe featuring Queer Femmes.
